Tumbling

Oct 02 2007

For a while now I’ve been toying with the idea of creating a tumblelog—somewhere to capture the stuff that doesn’t warrant a full blog post, but needs more than a simple Twitter update; stupid ideas, amusing conversations with small children, links, videos, and pictures of cats accompanied by amusing captions. Okay, perhaps not so much of the latter.

I was planning to incorporate this new feature into the next iteration/design of this site, but as client work has sucked up all my free time recently, I decided to bite the bullet and just set up an account on Tumblr—it gives me that immediate outlet, plus it means there will be a decent amount of content there when I do eventually manage to re-work this place. It’s a nice, simple service to use, although my only complaint would be the lack of categories and/or tags for your posts—I like to categorise things, dammit!

All of which is by way of saying: check out my new tumblelog. :)
