CSS Reboot - The Top Ten

Jun 16 2005

While at @media, several people asked me about the outcome of the voting on the rebooted designs we’ve all been enjoying since the start of last month, so now is as good a time as any to finally announce the top ten!

Please note that this is in no way a scientific poll, as there was very little in the way of security on the site (not that I am suggesting that any cheating went on, of course), but it’s always nice to know that your hard work has been rewarded; so without further ado I present:

The Top Ten Rebooters!

Gold Medal: Christian

Silver Medal: Ben Saunders

Bronze Medal: Davy Van Den Bremt

Runners-up:

The next ten

And filling out the top 20:

And just for interest, the three sites that received the highest number of votes:

Well done to everyone; if you’re not listed here, please don’t pester me to find out your final ranking – like I said, it’s not scientific, and as long as you are happy with your redesign that’s all that matters.

Finally, don’t forget that (as readers of Adam Howell’s site will know) the CSS Reboot has gone bi-annual – the next event takes place on November 1st, so fire up Photoshop and start your redesign engines!

With so many really excellent designs submitted to the CSS Reboot it’s truly an honor to be included in the top 20.

Thanks to you and Adam for organizing the whole thing, great work guys! I’m already looking forward to the next CSS Reboot.

Just for the avoidance of doubt, these are the results from the open voting on the CSS Reboot site; not my own personal preferences (which I have covered previously).
