Tomorrow, tomorrow...
Less than 24 hours to go until the web event of the year – @media – and I am beginning to quite look forward to it. The opportunity for lots of people whose sole connection is leaving occasional comments on occasional websites to meet and pretend they’ve known each other for years is shaping up to be as exciting as SxSW was to our stateside cousins (some of whom have even been tempted across the pond to experience what we pretend is warm weather for London in June).
I’ll be up bright and early to catch the train down to the capital – don’t want to get there too late and miss the Big Z’s keynote! – I’ll be the one in the exclusive designer wear (and without a Powerbook, so I’ll stand out even more), so come and say hi (or alternatively stop me drinking too much on the Thursday night, otherwise I’ll sleep in and miss Day Two).
It’s also not too late to add yourself to the @media ugly mug gallery, although I’m sure there will be Flickr sets abounding after the first opportunity to get back online…
