Neglected
For a variety of reasons ranging from the personal to the uninteresting I have failed to add any new content to this site for ten days. So here is a summary of items of note from that period:
- My new 19” flat-panel monitor arrived at work, much to the chagrin of fellow team members with lamentably tiny 15-inchers… (snigger)
- Work is proceeding on the freelance project I landed last month – I am currently considering whether to submit it to the CSS Vault and other gallery-like sites;
- I put the Christmas tree up and decorated it all on my own as a surprise for my wife, who had been resigned to a tree-less festive season due to our three grabby-handed children. My wife was duly impressed;
Um… and that’s it. Yet somehow, will all the spare time on my hands resulting from a combination of the approaching-holiday-slowdown effect and being between jobs I haven’t felt like doing any blogging.
I am painfully aware that my Designing the Blog series has faltered, with nothing new since early November, and indeed the ratio of useful to useless content is still far too low. Perhaps this can be an early New Year’s resolution – must write more!
Anyway, I am now off into town to brave the wind and the rain and purchase presents for the aforesaid wife – Merry Christmas to anyone who is still reading.
